OUR STORY

We love each other. We love craft beer. We love building community. And we love helping people explore beer!

Kimberly and Mike met in the Fall of 2015 because of their love of craft beer. They quickly fell in love and realized both shared the same dream of having their own craft beer taphouse! After exploring craft beer and the PNW together for a few months, they decided to make their dreams come true and bring their passion for craft beer to Mike’s hometown of Vancouver, Washington with the creation of Final Draft Taphouse.

Kimberly and Mike love craft beer, connecting with others, and want Final Draft Tapouse to be the place where beer friends come together to enjoy and explore craft beer, share stories, and make life-long connections!

KIMBERLY JOHNSON, ABV GIRL

After ten years in the corporate world in Minneapolis, Kimberly left it all and moved to the Pacific Northwest to pursue a life based on her passions, her desire to own her own business and the lifestyle she’s always wanted. Using her PR and marketing background and her writing/business skills, she started blogging and writing about craft beer and her adventures exploring the Pacific Northwest on her site Adventures, Brews, and Views or ABVGirl.com Through those adventures covering breweries and beer fests, she started working in the craft-beer industry and found her new ‘home’ in the craft-beer community. As ABV Girl, Kimberly aims to inspire others to get out and seek adventures, yummy brews to indulge in, and live boldly in pursuing the life the matters most!

Kimberly is a Wisconsin native so beer has always been a part of her life. Kimberly loves craft beer and the adventurous nature of craft beer and loves bringing people together to share in community together while sharing stories over pints.

MIKE BOLT, BOLT.SHRED.BEER

Mike was born and grew up in Vancouver, Wa. After graduating from Columbia High School, he moved to Montana to attend the University of Montana. After graduation, he had no idea what he truly wanted to do as a career. While in Montana, Mike fell in love with the beer in Missoula and had an extreme passion for it. So he decided to move back to Portland, Oregon and make a career out of working in the craft-beverage industry. He started working in the wine industry, then moved from there to craft cider and finally into the craft-beer industry, most recently working at Oregon City Brewery and Fortside Brewing in Vancouver.

Although he loved where he worked, Mike wasn’t completely satisfied as he longed for his own pursuit in craft beer. He has chosen to take his love and passion for craft beer home to Vancouver, Wa., where the craft-beer scene is starting to blossom. Mike loves craft beer and loves to share beer and stories with others. Mike often says, “Let’s grab a pint and be RAD!”
